This year TAGM decided to adopt two families from the Salvation Army Angel Tree. We set up what we called a Spirit Tree with all of the children's Wish List and gifts for the mothers. Members of our congregation picked the dove with the child's name and one of their wishes. We were able to get everything that they wished for plus some. We also provided the whole meal (turkey, ham, potatoes, rolls, gravy, noodles, sweet potatoes, green beans, corn, stuffing, cake mixes, icing, butter, eggs, oil, etc.) and hot chocolate, rice krispie treats, oreos, and ready to bake cookies for the children so they could make them for Santa. There were eight children and we bought for the two mothers. We also made each child and their mother a stocking filled with goodies. We had a wonderful time blessing those families.
At our Christmas Banquet each person brought a new unwrapped toy for a child. These toys were taken to Lorton Community Action Center where they were distributed to families in need.
In November, TAGM sent money with Keith Harvey to purchase another motor scooter for a Pastor in the Philippines.
Dear Pastor Richard and your congregation, Hi! good day to you. I want to thank Pastor Richard Davis and the Alive Gathering church for the new Honda Motor-bike that you gave me. I am Pastor Hilario Celis and my wife is Teofing Celis, we have two sons Jade Celis 14 years old and he is third year high school and Joash Celis 9 years old grade IV. We are pastoring a semi-pioneering church. Mostly of the members here is far away from the church. Even our bible studies are 7 kilometers distance away from the church and the others are 5 kilometers distance. That is why we long and pray to God that we can own a brand new motor-bike for our bible studies and visitation of the members. Six years after God will answer our prayers. He use you and your congregation through the hand of Sir Keith Harvey. We are so happy to give thanks to God first of all and to all of you that can share your wealth to the needy people. Until we have life we don't forget to pray for your pastor, your family, and your congregation. We don't forget to pray also our kind, lovely, trusted brother in Christ Sir Keith Harvey, who sacrifice and spend is time, money, and energy here in the Philippines. He preached in our church last Sept 5, 2010. That is why we cannot control our tears falling our eyes through the goodness of God. Sometimes we cannot feel the love of some church members - but God's love is always working in us. Thank you so much and God Bless you all!

In September TAGM also collected baby clothes, disposable diapers, cleaning supplies, etc. for the women and children at Bethany House.
In September TAGM sent money with Missionary Keith Harvey to purchase a scooter for a pastor in the Philippines from you "change that is changing the World"!
Operation Lift a Soldier - TAGM sent a package to one of our own soldiers Addley. The package weighed 37 pounds -- an indication of your generosity. We are sure Addley and his friends will thoroughly enjoy all of the goodies. Addley received his box and wanted to let everyone know how much he appreciates everyone from the Alive Gathering Ministries and he says Thank You!
TAGM collected clothing for our Missionary Keith Harvey to ship to the Philippines. Keith shipped 16 boxes of clothing, toys, and teaching materials. Thanks to everyone who gave.
